Website---To make or not to make?

Guys,

Lets list out the pros/cons of making the website.
It costs about 50k-100k?
What's the worst/best case scenario?

1) Personally, I think we should go for it.
2) I also think we should make a nice b-plan and sell investors. Since we have no experience, it is better if we utilize their exp and connections. We may lose some control over the company but we can always talk about the terms with our investors b4 they invest.
3) Can we make the websites ourselves? We just make our company pay you guys instead of paying some outside company. This way, we can also control the source code and make changing the website easier.

I think we should work on it

I think so too.
Now the question is, to do it on our own or to get funding.

I think we should look at the mkt research. But do you think it is reliable?
